Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

What are your thoughts on 1998's Godzilla? Didn't that start off well and then go to pieces with all the little Godzillas running around?

Am I the only one who enjoys the American Big-G? Hello, I would really have to see this film again to give an accurate opinion...it's been so long. All I can remember is thinking I like Matthew Broderick, and it was an inspired update of a movie monster legend. I will say I wasn't crazy over the look of the new Godzilla...he really lacked the 'charm' of his predecessors which I believe was usually a guy in a suit. I'm very nostalgic when it comes to movies, and for me the badly dubbed Japanese Godzilla movies with 'B grade' special effects will always be my favorites. 'King Kong Vs. Godzilla' comes to mind! I will say that 1998's 'Godzilla' didn't deserve all the bad press it seemed to get. I still remember it as an entertaining thrill ride! Take Care!

I know some may disagree, but I think the American Big-G is more realistic than the Japanese Big-G flicks.

They had state of the art effects and a huge budget for the Hollywood Godzilla. Part of the charm of the Japanese films is that it's obviously a man in a suit. They are meant to be tongue-in-cheek low-budget films.

The first Big-G film (and the American one) one are more realistic than the others.

Has anymore seen Eragon? If so, what you do think of it and should it be rebooted? I saw it myself on DVD 4 years ago, and it wasn't that great. For of those of you who aren't familiar with the movie, it's based on the first book of Christopher Paolini's Inheritance Cycle. I haven't read the book, but from what I saw, it seems to left out a lot from the book. And oh yeah....the movie adaptation got bad reviews ranging from direction to script to acting.....etc.
