Indy 4 now has more than $600 million. How's that for CR? CR came out 4 years after the last Bond movie Indiana Jones & KOTCS came out 19 years after the last IJ movie!! I read that they are thinking about making another Indiana Jones. Bond cannot seem to match the blockbusters such as Batman.

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

Harrison Ford is talking about Indy V already. I hope it doesn't take too long to make Indy V.

Another Indy film would be welcome for me. KOTCS wasn't perfect but it was good fun. The fanboy backlash agaisnt it was way OTT in places. Muppets.

The fanboy backlash agaisnt it was way OTT in places. I noticed this as well. The problem with a lot of the fanboy arguments is that Temple of Doom and Last Crusade shared many of the same flaws. They each had wafer-thin character development and some dodgy story logic. Seriously, is a "return the skull here" plot really any goofier than a "we need to collect 5 magic stones" one? It's also funny to hear people complain about the 'Chariots of the Gods' storyline, then turn right around and rant about why Atlantis would've been so much more realistic. WTF? ;D Everyone I've spoken to over the past several months enjoyed the film for what it was. I often asked if the "fridge" scene bothered them, and the overwhelmingly reply was, "Not really...because it's an Indiana Jones film. What did people expect?"So yeah, I'd love to see another film. They'd pretty much have to film it soon- much like they did with the original trilogy- so it's great that Lucas is already working on it. They could set it in 1959 and release it in 2010-11. The Garden of Eden was one rumored idea for Indy 4 back in the late 90's, and is one I always thought would be cool to see.

As long as it is released by 2012 (When Harrison Ford turns 70) I wouldn't mind

They'd better get a move on I think if they want one more.

I only saw the American Godzilla and Godzilla 2000. Both are enjoyable. I wish I seen the old ones.

I only saw the American Godzilla and Godzilla 2000. Both are enjoyable. I wish I seen the old ones. The 60's/70's Japanese monster movies were always on UK television at Christmas, but they have not been on for a few years. They are wonderful and you should watch some of them.

Big G's line of sequels has been rebooted twice. One in 1984 with Godzilla 1985: The Legend Is Reborn and one in 1999 with Godzilla 2000. It's been said that Big G will have a full American reboot coming out in 2012. If I must say, I prefer the reboot to release in theaters on 2014, the franchise's 60th birthday.
