Daniel Craig has a three picture contract. He won't be allowed to leave after two films. I don't believe though that he'll wish to make James Bond films for too long and miss out on more electic work.

He does not seem to be the sort of guy who wishes to be typecast. So I think, strike 3 and he's out of there.

He has a 3 picture contract. Also Barbara Broccoli would probably shoot herself if he left early.

There better be a Bond 7 on the horizon. If DC sticks around for a while I'm going to lose interest at some point. I like the films to change but Bond should be a constant. You know; handsome, tall, witty, etc. Anyone can be James Bond now.

The question is will Craig do a fourth. He'll definitely do a third.

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

Great Bond or not, I think it's ridiculously stupid for DC to be a memorable Bond as well as doing more Bonds than Pierce.

I wouldn't be sad to see the back of this charmless berk. He's like the 'marmite' Bond. No middle-ground.

I can't see Craig wanting to stick around for a true Bond "era". The role is simply too limiting for an actor- both in terms of being typecast and in the restrictions that EON likes to impose.
By his own admission, Craig has been worried about this from the very beginning. For example, I don't think he will like being told, "You can't take that other film role, because you have a certain image to uphold as Bond."

My prediction is that Craig will do three and barring a box-office dip will be asked back for a fourth. I'd have to see the next film before I throw myself out the window completely but I wasn't won over by Casino Royale.

The British Daily Express has stated that Daniel Craig is getting a bumper pay rise for Bond 22 and 23, so I presume he is making a 3rd.
He always has the low budget low paid work available, including TV. I'm not sure he has any great roles avalible. Those go to other actors, surely. He has had a few bit parts in big Hollywood films. Maybe he will get some big roles off of Bond.
