Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

I hope QOS and Bond 23 don't receive Globe Globe and/or Oscar nominations.

I don't think there is much chance of that happening my friend.

Last year, I listened to an Oscar preview on a late night radio show. The host asked his film expert guest why Daniel Craig had not received a nomination. The expert (not surprisingly a signed up member of the Craig is the best Bond now club) laughed at the suggestion - even after the "artistic remake" - of a Bond getting a best actor nomination.
He might get a Bafta for Bond.

Great job or not, Daniel Craig The Antichrist doesn't deserve an Oscar nomination for Bond or a Golden Globe for that matter.

It look like Craig also suggest that studio do not expect much from him and he open the idea that he will not last long. This is what he said in other interview: "Without being too doom and gloom about it, things can go wrong, and if it goes wrong, they'll want to get someone else."His comment is from www.mi6.co.uk/news/index.php?itemid=5726

If not another actor, they might as well put the series to rest for 10 years.

If EON wanted to do a tough and gritty Bond, they could had done with Brosnan many years back. I just don't know why Brosnan didn't have the chance like he wanted to. Is it because of Licence To Kill.

Is it because of Licence To Kill. I don't think Broccoli ever liked Brosnan much, remember she didn't cast him as Bond but 'inherited' him when she took control of the series in the nineties. We now know what her type is and what sort of Bond she prefers.

She certainly liked to "think outside the box" when casting James Bond. If only she had the same approach with the rest of the casting.

This new spirit of offbeat casting certainly hasn't reached the Bond girls yet.
