Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

We should put on a Daniel Craig film festival. Kadov does this every year. Just give him a PM for the venue. I see that photos of the venue have been leaked. This year's film festival will be held on October 9 (to commemorate the Germany release date of the Daniel Craig classic The Mother back in 2003) in Illertissen, Bavaria (birthplace of the modern-day Hegel, Marc Forster). Because the world has been gripped by Daniel Craig fever, paramedics from 20 countries will be on site to deal with the expected hysteria and fainting spells. Representatives from world-famous museums will also be attending to officially acknowledge that the art of Western Civilization has reached its apex with Flashbacks of a Fool.

This year will be particularly noteworthy, as Kadov has managed to hire Daniel Craig himself to park the cars.
Or, was I not supposed to ruin the surprise?

Just read that 'Formerbondfan' is going to write a biography on DC. It's 'Britain's Finest', Daniel Craig, 'The Glory Years'.

Feel a bit sorry for BB & MJW. They can only really choose a Bond from the actors who need/want the part. Owen had made it/was on the brink of making it in Hollywood and is now starring alongside Julia Roberts Denzil Washington etc. Ditto for Bale & Jackman.
DC at 38, probably knew he was'nt going to make it big time in Hollywood. He did'nt have the charisma of Owen, Bale or Jackman. He would have continued with a solid but unspectacular career on British T.V. Or playing bit parts in big films or lead roles in small films. Worthington & Canvill were also unknowns that would have jumped at the chance of playing Bond.
The next Bond will not be the publics choice or the best man for the job. It will be the best available man that wants/needs the role.

I dread to think who will be next. Barbara's idea of a Bond actor seems to be very different from Cubby.

Ian Fleming said Roger Moore would make a good Bond. when? ;D show me the article bro ;D this is what i like about the forum always fantasized about Flemming would said about their favorites actor ;D Here you go Chuck - "ROGER MOORE - MOORE WAS FLEMING'S FIRST CHOICE FOR 007
ROGER MOORE was author IAN FLEMING's first choice to play JAMES BOND - and he almost landed the superspy role ahead of SEAN CONNERY. Moore eventually replaced the Scottish star and portrayed 007 for 12 years, but he could have been Bond for much longer, had producers listened to Fleming as they were casting Bond's 1962 debut Dr. No. The actor reveals he was considered as the lead for the film. He tells Entertainment Weekly magazine, "That's what they told me, at least. They also said I was Ian Fleming's first choice. But Ian Fleming didn't know me from s**t. He wanted Cary Grant or David Niven." Niven actually played Sir James Bond in 1967's Casino Royale. The film is not considered one of the 22 official Bond films.

If Fleming wanted David Niven or Cary Grant I don't think he'd be very impressed with the current era of Eon films.

If Fleming wanted David Niven or Cary Grant I don't think he'd be very impressed with the current era of Eon films. Flemming would be proud because the story plot and the actor (Craig) and character bak to its roots (original source), Flemming would be dissapointed to see Brosnan and Roger Moore era when James Bond is more like a clown with manner (Moore) and a SPA visitor like Brosnan ;D

I don't blame DC for taking the role. It was either take it or spend the next 20 years having a 'David Morrisey'/ 'Christopher Eccelston' esq solid but unnoticable career.
