I do have to agree, i think DC Bond will just be remembered as just a blur compared to all the other Bond films.

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

From reading various sources, many people feel Quantum of Solace will make over $200 milliion the US. Many people are also suggesting that Twilight will go close to $200 million.

There were sharpe reductions in the box office for TMWTGG and LTK. The casual cinema goer will go and see a new Bond actor in his debut film out of curiosity & to have something to talk about to friends. Then he may not bother seeing the next film. The title song is awful and the trailer looks like nothing special. The media bigged up CR and Craig so much in 2006 I thought it was going to be the cinematic event of the year (it was'nt). The media obviously did this to support a much loved 44 year old franchise. If the media decide to write honest reviews for QOS, it will result in a reduced box office. If the film really sucks, word of mouth and bad reviews will mean a sharpe box office reduction.
On the plus side, it is a Bond movie and will have a mamouth PR machine behind it. Brosnan's second Bond also did good box office.

You don't want Twilight to do well? I'm sorry. I meant QOS. It would be ridiculously stupid if QOS makes over $200 million here in the US.

As for Twilight, I hope it makes more than QOS here in the US if not worldwide.

The reviews have been mixed. Many have said it is an awful movie. I wonder if this will affect the Box Office?

The reviews have been mixed. Many have said it is an awful movie. I wonder if this will affect the Box Office? If it's really that dull, then I imagine the box office will reflect it. Remember, despite the massive hype/marketing, CR still owed its box office success to good reviews and word-of-mouth. So the bad reviews and confusing title certainly won't do QOS any favors. The most damning review may be the one from 007 Magazine. If a site that pro-Daniel Craig was disappointed, it doesn't bode well for what casual moviegoers will think. The Bond name will carry the film for a week or two, but any $230 million film is going to need strong repeat business.

Eon must be very puzzled at these reviews. A few have trashed the film and they'vbe been very spotty overall. Even the more positive ones have stifled a yawn and commented that a joke free Bond film that doesn't seem like a Bond film is starting to get a bit boring.

The sophomore outing of a Bond actor typically sees a dip in box office. This is understandable, since the second film lacks the excitement that a new 007 usually generates. And that certainly was a big case for TMWTGG. I believe only Connery is the one to top his first flick. I have a feeling QOS won't do too greatly in the US, but I'm sure it will make more or less the same numbers internationally.
