The sophomore outing of a Bond actor typically sees a dip in box office. This is understandable, since the second film lacks the excitement that a new 007 usually generates. And that certainly was a big case for TMWTGG. I believe only Connery is the one to top his first flick. I have a feeling QOS won't do too greatly in the US, but I'm sure it will make more or less the same numbers internationally. It will be interesting to see the US reviews.

I'm sure Babs will have been delighted. I actually like the title track (It's grown on me). Far better than the turds poor old PB had to endure.

I cant say i agree with you there? Goldeneye was pretty good! I thought Goldeneye and The World Is Not Enough were both decent. Neither was a great song, but they worked well as Bond themes. K.D. Lang's TND's track was also a good effort, even if it was relegated to the end credits.

I cant say i agree with you there? Goldeneye was pretty good! Goldeneye was ok IMO, but the other 3 were simply poor when compared to the classics before them.

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

Jack White said he wrote the QOS theme in a day & had never met Alicia Keyes before. Listening to the song, I can beleive that. However it has grown on me a bit & is'nt bad. Daltons LTK & Brosnan's G had decent songs. Since then the standard has been poor.

Daltons LTK & Brosnan's G had decent songs. I thought TND song is better than either of the two though some may disagree.

The box office may be the biggest ever. This will be ironic as QOS may be the worst Bond movie ever. However past glories of Connery, Moore, Brosnan etc will get the public through the turnstyles hopeing for more thrills. The massive PR campaign won't do any harm either.

The box office may be the biggest ever. I hope it doesn't happen here in the US.

Iron Man? I thought that was average. Downey was a standout in that flick but it just felt too by the numbers for me.
