Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

We don't need Bond. There are plenty of other franchises out there. And hey....would you guys be interested of a Brosnan/Tarantino action blockbuster?

It's a shame they couldn't do Casino Royale together.

He did do a film with Roman Polanski though. The film (and Brosnan) got decent reviews.

they should have dropped;
-the altered through DNA restructuring plot aspect. wouldn't have been as bad if it wasn't a North Korean turning into an American, like come on. only would have worked for Blofled
-Icarus was to Batman Forever
they should have stayed with the diamonds plot line and kept it grounded theirs so many mofits they could have used
overall i thought the first half of the film was great until the introducing of Icarus

I would make it as Casino Royale. Take the 1st part of DAD with Bond out of the picture and have him return to an M who doesn't trust him. So she sends him on a relatively easy mission-the plot from the novel, updated of course. Here you have aBond unsure of where he fits into the world he used to know. Disillusioned, disenchanted and to some extent disenfranchised, his license to kill in question, he's ready to fall in love and give up his old life for a woman. Only after her betrayal does he realize that the world will always have a need for him and those like him.
It could have been a brilliant way to commemorate the 40th anniversary and provided PBS with a film that logically closed his tenure on the series with a companion piece to "GoldenEye".

The "Hotel of Doom" In North Korea would have been a much better setting to DAD, then the ice palace and the airplane should have done the car chase scene their It looks very Goldeneye and would have been a perfect villain lair they could have brought back Valentin Dmitrovich Zukovsky [/quote]
