Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

I think Brosnan was probably too young in 86. He actually still looked very young in GE. The young Bond idea could have worked for Pierce back in 95 due to his youthful appearance.

And especially 86. Brosnan definitely bulked up after GE.

They could have relaunched Bond after Sir Roger's departure with Brosnan as the young Bond.

Enjoyed your Ken Baxter is James Bond article. Can't see how CB could have considered him if that is what he looked like in the 70's. Another article that would is interesting would be about a man who was James Bond, - for one day. James Brolin was apparantly signed up for Octopussy as Sir Roger was'nt interested. Sir Roger quickly changed his mind.

Lewis Collins should have made a Bond movie. I second that.

Pierce's image should have been in GE Wii; otherwise, the game should never have been made.

I think Brosnan was probably too young in 86. He actually still looked very young in GE. But it's funny that they always tried to get an actor that was either very young or youthful looking: Moore in 62, Lazenby, Dalton in the early 70's, Brosnan in 86. And then of course when they finally decided to make a film that actually required a very young James Bond... ;D I was sceptical about the young Bond idea at first. Then i thought it would be fun. The they cast Daniel Craig as the young Bond. Arrrrrrrggggghhhhhhhhh!!! Arrrrrrrgggggghhh is quite about the only appropriate reaction ;D As far as the actors: 60's Definitely Cary Grant. He was Fleming's choice. It's too bad he wasn't young enough anymore. But I would have LOVED to see him as the original Bond. Not coincidentally he was Fleming's first choice... love him and always will. This by the way indicates that Fleming himself would NEVER in a zillion years have ever approved of casting an unattractive, inelegant, average-joe type like Craig as Bond. Not to mention of course the fact he's blond short and unattractive when instead he's supposed to be tall, dark and good-looking. 70's I actually think Moore was the best choice at that point. 80's I was fine with Dalton. And Brosnan at the end. 90's I would NEVER trade Brosnan with anyone else. Ever. He was perfect and he remains the perfect contemporary Bond. 00's Henry Cavill of course. But there's still time for that, thank goodness.

Henry Cavill of course. But there's still time for that, thank goodness. Although Cavill is not my favorite to replace Craig, i hope he can get a chance by the time Craig tenure over. Still have a lot of time for him, in the meanwhile i hope Cavill read entire Fleming novels in order to understand the character more deeper. I see a lot of potential in him and i think he can be better than Brosnan if he can spend his time to read the novel.

If Daniel Craig was to resign after Bond 23, I bet Eon would screetest three or four actors we have never heard of along with some famous faces!

Ian Ogilvy would have been a good Bond. He replaced Roger Moore as The Saint.
