Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

Since Star Trek is only a few months away, I thought I would start this thread to discuss the direction of franchise. If anyone has any thoughts, let's hear them now.

It will be nice to see some new Star Trek.
Do you think they will make a sequel with the same cast?

Do you think they will make a sequel with the same cast? I say keep the same cast for the next two sequels.

Anyone here planning to dress up in Star Trek costumes for the prequel's opening night?

I used to hate the thought of new actors portraying the original cast, an idea that was often put forward. Time has passed, a few of the original cast have passed on and the original cast made many movies and guest appearances in other Star Trek films. So I feel making a film portraying the younger original Star Trek crew with new actors is an idea whose time has come. BTW FormerBondfan, I always dress in a Starfleet uniform (Only joking)

There will be some special showings where you can dress up in a Star Trek outift. Here in Britain there are lots of charity showings of a new Bond film where everyone dresses up in a tuxedo. Although a pair of jeans and a t-shirt would be more apt for a Daniel Craig Bond film. ;D
Have you been to the opening night of a Star Trek film before FormerBondFan?
