celebrities.ninemsn.com.au/blog.aspx?blogentryid=650536&showcomments=true Daniel Craig gay scandal
Cover your eyes and ears ladies - if Daniel Craig is your secret celebrity future husband then this may be too much to bear.
The Bond actor was allegedly spotted pashing a good looking guy in the parking lot of Roosterfish Bar in Venice on May 15.
"It was definitely Daniel Craig, and he was most certainly making out with a guy," an onlooker tells National Enquirer.
"Daniel kissed his friend on the lips. It was an open-mouth passionate French kiss. In fact, Daniel held the guy's head in his hands and pulled him in for the kiss!"
The witness (who, in true National Enquirer form even took a polygraph test to prove the story was genuine) says when Daniel realised he was being watched he "immediately broke away from the guy. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it."
Another onlooker inside the bar backs up the story...
"When Daniel and his friend walked in, they looked like any other upscale gay couple checking out the scene. He rubbed Daniel's leg and shoulder while they talked, and Daniel didn't seem to mind.
“At first, I thought Daniel may have come in with his gay friend to check out the live music. But when they started dancing together, I thought, 'This is more than just two friends out for drinks.'"
Daniel is engaged to film producer Satsuki Mitchell, who he met in 2005. He's yet to respond to National Enquirer's allegations.

Is the National Enquirer like a British tabloid?

Is the National Enquirer like a British tabloid? Yes. Definitely a tabloid rag. But supposedly they sometimes have accurate reports, although I can't think of any at the moment. This is not good news. Whether true or not, it's just bad publicity at a time when the next Bond film is just flooded with bad news. What's odd though is that Craig seems to be attached to this sort of news. There were reports at the time QOS started filming that he has a big gay following. I also remember that he stated (after CR was released?) that he doesn't mind making Bond gay or something to that effect. It was dismissed as a joke but still why does he even bother to say that when he knows the media will sensationalize the comment? QOS itself has apparent gay nuances in the characterizations of the villains, and my gay coworker said that Craig's portrayal (along with his wardrobe) had some gay suggestions in the character, especially how he and Dominic Greene interacted. Of course, my coworker is pleased with this news and he's been kidding me and the other Bond fans at the office all morning. I guess Alvin and Chuck should be pleased too with this news.

Yes. Definitely a tabloid rag. But supposedly they sometimes have accurate reports, although I can't think of any at the moment. They mainly seem to get celebrity illness rumors correct. (Weren't they one of the first to report on Patrick Swayze's troubles?) Then again, that could just be the law of averages kicking in, since it's such a favorite subject for them. I think the British tabloids might actually have a higher success rate when it comes to gossip.

It doesn't really bother me if someone is gay or not but it would be ironic in this case as any alternative to Craig has been trashed for being too effeminate etc for the last four years or so.

I think the British tabloids might actually have a higher success rate when it comes to gossip. The National Enquirer also broke the John Edwards scandal. Then this rag won a Pulitzer Prize for the coverage. I think they also broke the Tiger Woods scandal. This bit of Craig news has been floating all day, and I'm not aware of any comment or rebuttal from the actor. I don't give a hoot about his sexual orientation, but the longer this sort of thing circulates just perpetuates the sensationalism. It's bad enough that the next film is already tainted with chaos and uncertainty.

You'd think someone would have taken a photograph of him if it was true.

I am not surprised if it is true. The guy has no idea who he is, obviously has problems, and will be fired from Bond quite soon unless Broccoli wants Bond to be bisexual as well.

I would imagine he likes the sixties Bond era best.
